Glenn has delivered the goods
for Scarborough Centre!

One new library in the works
To ensure Scarborough gets its fair share, Glenn fought for a new library, which will soon be built in the heart of our community at the Civic Centre.

Three new splash pads built
Local kids will have hours of summer fun, thanks to three new splash pads in our ward. Glenn raised funds for these and two more that are on the way!

Five new parks and one dog park created
Because of Glenn’s hard work and green vision, Scarborough Centre has six new parks – five for humans and a leash-free one that is just being completed for dogs!

Seven local job fairs organized
Glenn and Councillor Michael Thompson have hosted seven annual job fairs, bringing thousands of job-seekers together with dozens of employers.

Eighty-three roads repaved
As works chair, Glenn pushed for a $37 million boost to the city’s annual road repair budget, ensuring that eighty-three streets in our ward were repaved.

Over 120 community events organized
For seven years, Glenn has helped our community celebrate the seasons, with parties, picnics, compost days and movies in the park. And he found corporate sponsors to pay most of the bills, so you don’t have to.

Over 300 new police officers hired
To tackle crime head on, Glenn supported the hiring of 322 new Toronto police officers, making our city one of the safest in North America.

Thousands of residents helped
From potholes and messy plazas to absentee landlords and dangerous dogs, Glenn and his team have helped thousands of residents solve problems that greatly impacted their quality of life.

Seven thousand trees planted
Our city’s getting greener, thanks to Glenn’s push for more trees across Toronto, with 7,000 of them being planted in the streets and parks of our ward.

$4.6 million found in a forgotten bank account
Acting on a tip from long-time residents, Glenn spent months digging through city records to track down a fund that was lost when the mega-city was created. Now, money that should have been invested in our community years ago is benefiting a local day care, local playgrounds and our animal centre.
